Powertrain
A forklift has to be really tough to last for many hours of heavy use in extreme settings. These machines need to be able to move loads efficiently and fast while still being ergonomic to the operator. The rugged, reliable Yale powertrain offers superior durability through its computer managed engine and transmission, extremely robust shafts and gears and state of the art clutch pack. The engine, transmission, drive axle and steer axle are all isolated so as to reduce vibration and noise inside the compartment of the operator.
Electrical
The electrical system of the lift truck is responsible for connecting the major nerve centers of the truck. Hence, the electrical system in the lift truck must be dependable and durable for the most demanding cold/hot and wet/dry operations. There is much sophistication required in order to control truck functionality.
Delivering reliable electronics are a well-known hallmark of all Yale trucks. The Yale CANbus electrical system utilizes digital technology and lessens electrical connections and reduces wiring as well. This results in improved reliability and awesome serviceability.
Hydraulics
The hydraulics are the "muscles" of the forklift. They give the necessary force required to raise heavy loads during the entirety of a long shift. All Yale trucks feature industrial grade hydraulic components. Several of these components consist of: leak resistant O-ring face seal fittings, heavy-duty hydraulic valves, fine micron filters and long lasting hoist and tilt cylinders. The control valve has been strategically placed in order to prolong component life by reducing exposure to heat sources.
Yale's diesel forklifts provide extreme dependability and are recognized for withstanding harsh working conditions and coming out on top. These equipment have been built in such a precise way that attention to detail has been considered so as to keep the operator as comfortable as possible.
