Optional Accessories for Your Forklift
Audible Devices - Motion or back-Up Alarms:
The audible devices such as motion alarms or back-up alarms produce sound that needs to be really loud in order to be heard above the noise which the forklift creates in the operating place.
The sound generated by the audio device must be discernible from other audible devices or sounds from the work environment. The sound must also be different from the other sound or audible devices within the work area. The audible device could end up contributing to OSHA noise limitation and to employee noise exposure; therefore, care should be taken.
Hearing protection makes it trickier to hear the audible device and to determine what direction and distance it is coming from. Audible devices could sometimes get deactivated from operators and workers because they could find them very annoying. Furthermore, audible devices may also be objectionable to residents in the vicinity.
Additional Operator & Application Options:
Enclosed Operator Cabs: To be able protect the operator from the elements, enclosed operator cabs made of tempered glass are utilized to help prevent injuries and lessen other issues. Furthermore, these cabs feature an emergency exit via removing the window. Noise levels are reduced at the operator's ear because of additional sound proofing.
Operator Selectable Performance Modes: The operator could choose the performance need for the particular use. As well, it allows a supervisor to set the model's utmost performance for an operator who is just learning. Being able to reduce and adjust the maximum performance of the unit allows a new operator to learn the operating characteristics of the equipment in a controlled environment.
Impact Monitor: The impact monitor disables the unit and when this occurs, it requires a supervisor to activate and override the unit. This encourages the operator to be sure to manage the machinery in a more controlled way.
Panoramic and Dual Rear View Mirrors: These specific mirrors help to assist the operator in observing the operating space behind the vehicle, and their tail swing area.
