End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control forklift is an extremely flexible equipment and is common in the material handling business. These machines have superior performance characteristics which are quite like sit-down electric forklift models.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suited for warehousing operation environments that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are often less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These equipment are an excellent option for applications that require frequent on and off access, since their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
Lots of businesses used a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading equipments can arrange finished goods on pallets and supplies to be stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for individuals who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require yet in a safe and efficient way.
All standard reach truck models will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machine. Telescoping blades are mounted to the out-rigging and could move down and up. The forks also have a hydraulic setup that enables the driver to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not only offers a lot more balance to the whole load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to move between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
When the reach truck finds the shelves that are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics allow the blades to swing into place and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into place. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet across without problems, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
