Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system offers much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide different optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you complete your requirements, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. When accuracy and precision are really vital, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible, numerous attachments have been engineered and developed such as booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to place materials more accurately. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures so as to place loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New attachments and products are being designed and made all the time and would debut in the future.
Many improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. Like for instance, load-reach management devices are able to automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to know the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory would compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, once the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
