Established in the year 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family business within the Northern Italy's largest industrial location. Throughout the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in constructing bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, a wide range of forklifts, presses, prefabrication molds and farming machines.
In the year 1963, the business started crane production. The company eventually invested all of their financial resources and human resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the area of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru sells and makes 4 series of high quality tower cranes. These machines are engineered and designed for various uses and there are available models which could cover all construction requirements.
FMgru has some extremely flexible lifting options for smaller companies working on private homes and other smaller buildings. Self-erecting cranes offer 22 to 40 meters jib range and have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity.
Other models include topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are really adaptable and user friendly. They are great for minimizing interferences when there are many cranes working in the same building location.
Saddle-jib tower cranes have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg and a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. There are regular tower cranes which have no over sail restriction and are great for any construction or building project.
Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes by FMgru have a 12000 kg capacity and 50 meter long jibs. These cranes are particularly designed to work in tight sites and on high-rise projects where buildings are found in close proximity to each other.
