Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklifts provide height and versatility. These models are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom allows the person utilizing it to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the load to great heights. Standard lift trucks aren't able to move the cargo away from and towards the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually utilized in agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is required.
In cases needing high volume carton handling, hydraulic attachments referred to as forklift carton clamp attachments are better. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which enable the operator to use uniform clamping force when lifting a cargo. It comes with a backrest which protects the loads from damage.
A sleep sheet forklift would usually use a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform designed specifically to raise personnel. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a chain or strap that is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
