Various industries like for instance Waste to Energy, Scrap handling, Steel Mills, as well as many other material handling facilities like Bulk Transfer Facilities currently depending on our buckets and grabs to get their jobs done.

The design philosophy at Peiner has always revolved around providing grabs which deal with the largest volume of material versus grab dead weight. The standard handling ratio for Peiner grabs and buckets is around 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent versus grab dead weight of 40 percent. This translates into transporting greater quantities of supplies quicker. The wear and tear on the structure of the crane and its related parts is less. Through a combination of manufacturing with high quality materials and innovative design, the weight ration that is required is attained.

Grab sizes will range from 1 cubic yard or less to more than 50 cubic yards in order to suit the needs of the client.
